Single-girder overhead crane is a lifting device that is horizontally placed over workshops, warehouses and stockyards for material hoisting. Because its two ends are located on tall concrete columns or metal supports, the shape is like a bridge, so it is named bridge crane. The single-girder bridge crane has a main girder, the main girder runs longitudinally along the track laid on the elevated on both sides, and the hoisting equipment can move along the main girder, so that the space under the bridge can be fully utilized to lift materials without being hindered by ground equipment . It is the most widely used and the largest number of hoisting machinery.

This kind of crane is mainly used for hoisting and transportation in explosive gas environment. Its basic structure is similar to that of ordinary bridge cranes, but explosion-proof measures are taken in the mechanical parts such as motor, electrical part and metal contact surface to ensure the safety of explosion-proof environment.Explosion-proof bridge cranes can be divided into two types according to explosion-proof categories:
1. Explosion-proof bridge crane for coal mine:
Mainly used in the above-ground part of the coal mine and the non-excavating surface part of the mine, the crane should have the mine safety certificate (MA certification);
2. Factory explosion-proof bridge crane:
Mainly used in dangerous and important places with flammable gas or flammable mixture, the crane should have an explosion-proof certificate issued by the national testing center;
1. Type selection error
The selection of explosion-proof cranes should be noted: explosion-proof electrical equipment suitable for zone 0 can be used in zone 1 and 2, and electrical equipment suitable for zone 1 can be used in zone 2, and vice versa.
2. Construction problems
On-site construction should strictly follow relevant standards to avoid failure.
3. Parts problem
If the parts and related equipment of the crane have explosion-proof requirements, the installation should not be lower than the explosion-proof level and temperature group of the whole machine.
4. Spreader problem
It should be noted that the wire rope stripping device is not protected by anti-static materials, which may not play a protective role.
5. Anti-wind and anti-skid problems
It is necessary to check whether the functions of the top rail device and other devices have failed, and whether the parts are defective.
6. Button problem
It is necessary to pay attention to the failure caused by the failure of the button and the failure of the loss of pressure protection.
7. Explosion-proof power box problem
It should be noted that the power box of the crane should be an explosion-proof power box not lower than the explosion-proof level and temperature group of the whole machine.
If the buffer part is missing or damaged, it will not function as a buffer.
